Spring Cleaning for the Mind

It’s spring and it’s time to de-clutter the mind!


One tip for clearing the mind is . . .

Instead of thinking about words, visualize colors.


As you breathe in, you can choose a relaxing color. Pick a cool color such as blue or any that you like. Imagine yourself breathing in this color as fresh, clean air and as you breathe out, imagine a warm color like orange or red. Imagine this warm color as anxiety or stress and slowly breathe it out.


Avoid forcing the breath out -- allow your breath to escape slowly.


Give your mind a good cleaning out.


Breathe. Period.
